Terms of use

These terms cover the use of this ordering website, operated by Little Ones Lunches Ltd. They do not replace the catering agreement between us and your centre. Where the two differ on price, notice periods or what is supplied, the catering agreement wins.

Who may use it

Accounts are issued by Little Ones Lunches Ltd to named staff at centres we supply, and to our own kitchen and delivery staff. Accounts are not self-service and cannot be created from this site.

An account belongs to one person. Do not share a password, and tell us at once if you think somebody else has it. Anything done through an account is treated as done by the person it belongs to.

Orders

• A centre enters its own numbers for the coming week. Nothing is ordered on a centre's behalf automatically, so a week nobody enters is a week nothing is cooked for.
• An order can be changed until the cutoff shown on the day. After the cutoff the kitchen is working from it and changes have to go through the kitchen by phone.
• A submitted order is what we cook and what we invoice. If it is wrong, tell the kitchen before the cutoff.
• Closures entered by a centre, and closures we enter for a holiday, both mean nothing is cooked or delivered that day.

Allergies and dietary requirements

The centre is responsible for what it records. We cook to the requirements entered against each room, and we cannot check them against anything we hold, because we hold nothing about individual children.

Keep them current. A requirement that is out of date is more dangerous than one that was never entered, because the kitchen will cook to it. If a requirement changes after the cutoff, telephone the kitchen; do not rely on the website alone.

We prepare food in a kitchen that handles common allergens. We follow the requirements recorded for each room, but we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

Deliveries

Somebody at the centre signs for each delivery and their printed name is recorded beside the signature, along with the time and the food temperatures. That record is the food-safety evidence for both of us, so sign for what actually arrived. If a delivery is short or late, say so at the door and it is recorded with the sign-off.

Availability

We keep the site running but do not promise it will never be down. It is not the only way to reach us: if you cannot get in and you need to change an order, telephone the kitchen. Do not treat an unreachable website as a cancelled order.

Acceptable use

Use the site for ordering, cooking and delivering meals. Do not try to reach another centre's data, test the security of the site without written permission, or use automated tools against it.

Ending access

We deactivate accounts when somebody leaves a centre or when a centre stops being a customer. A deactivated account stops working immediately. Past orders and delivery records are kept for the periods set out in the privacy notice.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply in it.
